Online Therapy in Utah County

Roots Counseling & Wellness provides online therapy to people throughout Utah County by secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth video. You can meet with a licensed Roots clinician from home in Provo, Orem, Lehi or anywhere else in the county, as long as you are physically in Utah during each session. Sessions are the same length as in-person appointments, and many major Utah insurance plans are accepted.

How telehealth fits life in Utah Valley

Utah Valley stretches from Point of the Mountain down past Utah Lake, and much of daily life here moves along the I-15 corridor. Between work, school and family, an appointment across town can start to feel like one more errand. Telehealth removes the drive, so the hour you set aside goes to the conversation itself.

Roots is based in Cedar City and has worked with Utah clients since 2017. Our clinicians are licensed in Utah, which is why location matters: wherever you log in from, it needs to be inside the state.

Find your city

Each city page covers telehealth details for that community.

Live in American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Springville, Spanish Fork or another Utah County town? You are welcome too. Telehealth works the same way anywhere in Utah, and our telehealth therapy page explains the details.

A note for BYU and UVU students

Both campuses offer counseling services, and many students use them. Some students prefer a therapist outside their campus, perhaps to keep therapy separate from classes, roommates or a campus job. Telehealth with Roots is one more option.

One thing to plan for: if you head home to another state over a break, sessions pause until you are back in Utah. Your clinician can help you plan around travel.
