Dallas Lowry, CMHC

Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC)

About Dallas Lowry

Dallas is completing his internship at Roots counseling. He is earning a master's degree in clinical mental health at Grand Canyon University (GCU). Dallas has over 30 years experience mentoring the youth. Teaching a life skills class has sparked his interest in cognitive behaviors and has educated him in the need for the balance of body, mind, spirit, and relationships. He has a strength-based solution focused mindset and is excited about learning dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and Internal family systems (IFS).

I enjoy the outdoors and love to learn from nature. The roots of a tree feed, heal and strengthen the tree. Trees are resilient and grow in some of the most diverse places. A tree growing out of a rock on top of a mountain will shelter, shade, and protect. I am excited to be working with Roots.
